PAXBRIEF Mission

To provide passengers with independent, professional-grade aviation safety intelligence—leveraging proprietary technology, analytical frameworks, and expert judgment that empowers informed decisions before every flight.

Career Aviators Leading the PAXBRIEF Team

Aviation safety leadership rooted in military command, commercial flight operations, and regulatory oversight.

Nathan Childers, President
Senior Aviation Safety Intelligence Analyst

Nathan Childers brings 37 years in the cockpit and a career built around aviation safety. A retired U.S. Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with 23 years of military service, including as Chief of Safety, he has flown the full spectrum of aviation, from combat missions on night vision goggles to zero-visibility approaches, and from single-engine general aviation to wide-body international operations. He has also owned and flown his own high-performance aircraft. He holds Airline Transport Pilot and Commercial pilot certificates, a business/engineering degree from Georgia Tech and a master’s degree from Air University.

That range is what assessing a specific flight requires: understanding every facet of the flight and how they come together on the day you fly. Nathan has managed that picture from the flight deck and from the safety office. His years inside private aviation also showed him how rarely passengers had an independent view of the safety of their specific flight, and PAXBRIEF grew from that observation. He now leads the company and its analysis, pairing a safety officer’s rigor with decades of building and leading organizations, so passengers and principals have the independent facts to make their own informed decisions.

Greg Boggs, Vice President & Chief Technology Officer
Senior Aviation Safety Intelligence Analyst

Greg Boggs has seen aviation safety from both sides of the aircraft skin: first as the maintainer certifying an aircraft could fly, then as the pilot trusting that it would. He served 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, earning training awards along the way. He began on the flight line as a Crew Chief, aircraft structural mechanic and supervisor, then moved to the flight deck as a C-17A Instructor Pilot and Aircraft Commander. As an Operations Officer, he oversaw more than 400 missions a year and standardization across 60 pilots and 11 aircraft. He has also built his own experimental aircraft, bringing the same discipline to general aviation. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, has logged more than 4,500 flight hours, and earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

At PAXBRIEF, Greg brings a mechanic’s eye and a pilot’s judgment to the analysis of each flight. He also leads PAXBRIEF’s technology development: the workflows and back-end systems that support its analysts, and the design of its website. The tools support the analysts, and every analytical judgment stays with a human.
